Retrofitting of Marvdasht Sugar Factory

Trusses are structural systems composed of triangular elements and are widely used for covering large spans, industrial buildings, and bridges. The members of a truss are generally subjected to axial forces, and slenderness effects must be considered in their design. In this post, you can see images related to the strengthening of the warehouse trusses of the sugar factory in Marvdasht. The strengthening design was prepared by Farboom Shahr Pars Consulting Engineers and is currently under implementation.
